Below you'll find a current list of prices and services offered at Barr's Barking Salon. All grooms are tailor-made to your requirements and the dog's breed so if you don't find what you're looking for, please get in touch.
- I use a professional dog hair dryer for nervous dogs and puppies.
- Health, Skin, and Coat check is done before each groom to determine the correct products to benefit your dog.
- I work in accordance with the Animal Welfare Act and will spend up to 15 minutes on minor matt/small knot removal. To avoid unnecessary suffering excessively matted coats will need to be clipped off – an extra charge will usually apply.

This Grooming method takes the dead coat from your dog by hand. It’s suited to the wire-coated breeds like Border Terriers and also the silky-coated gun dogs like spaniels. Certain breeds have a double structured coat: Wirehair coats can be stripped of their topcoat wirehair to leave the undercoat and silky coats can be stripped of the undercoat to reveal a shorter smooth and shiny topcoat.

I understand how scary a grooming environment can be to a new puppy this is why it’s important to get them to use the sound, touch, and feel of the different equipment I use. For the first appointment, they will just have a bath, brush, and blow-dry (with a professional dog hairdryer) then a second appointment for another bath, brush and blow-dry, nails trimmed (if required) hair from the face, and sanitary area trimmed plus fragrance.

Pad and nose balm
I use an ultra-nourishing balm to soften and soothe dry noses and sore cracked pads.
It has no added fragrance from essential oils so is perfect to use on dogs’ highly sensitive noses.
Blueberry facial
Helps to reduce the appearance of tear staining on lighter coats, and is perfect for cleaning out the facial folds on our popular breeds such as Pugs, Shih Tzus and Bulldogs.
Finished off with a dab of nose balm to moisturize your dog’s most valuable sense.
